AND FOR THAT, I WOULD LIKE TO INVITE COUNCIL MEMBER ELLIS TO JOIN ME UP FRONT, PLEASE.
THANK YOU MR. MAYOR MEMBERS OF THE COUNCIL, UH, FOR OUR FIRST SERVICE RECOGNITION THIS EVENING, I'D LIKE TO INVITE OUR CHIEF OF POLICE, SEAN DUGGAN TO COME FORWARD AND MAKE HIS PRESENTATION.
THE MAYOR MEMBERS OF COUNCIL, I'D LIKE TO ASK, UH, SERGEANT CHAD
SO CHAD BEGAN HIS CAREER WITH THE CHANNEL OF POLICE DEPARTMENT IN 2006, AFTER SERVING FOUR YEARS AS A POLICE OFFICER IN THE BALTIMORE COUNTY IN BALTIMORE COUNTY, MARYLAND, YOU QUICKLY, QUICKLY ESTABLISH THEMSELVES AS A FOCUS AND HIGHLY DETERMINED OFFICER KNOWN FOR HIS LEADERSHIP AND INVESTIGATIVE SKILLS.
AFTER SERVING IN PATROL, CHAD WAS ASSIGNED TO THE PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS UNIT AND LATER SERVED AS A DETECTIVE IN THE FAMILY CRIMES UNIT.
IN 2014, HIS HARD WORK PAID OFF AND HE WAS PROMOTED TO SERGEANT OR HE SPENT TWO YEARS DEVELOPING HIS PATROL TEAM WHILE RESPONDING TO THE CALLS FOR SERVICE THROUGHOUT THE CITY.
IN 2016, CHAD WAS ASSIGNED IN 2014, HE WAS PROMOTED.
AND THEN IN 2016 WAS ASSIGNED TO THE, UH, UH, TRAFFIC SECTION WHERE HE PRESENTLY LEADS A NIGHTTIME DUI SQUAD, HELPING TO KEEP OUR ROADWAYS SAFE.
AND OVER THE PAST DECADE, IN ADDITION TO HIS PRIMARY JOB, CHAD HAS BEEN RESPONSIBLE FOR A NUMBER OF SECONDARY DUTIES.
HE'S AN ACTIVE MEMBER OF THE DEPARTMENT'S TRAINING TEAM, SPECIALIZING IN DEFENSIVE TACTICS.
HE SERVES THE DEPARTMENT AS A SPANISH TRANSLATOR AND AS A TEAM LEADER IN OUR RAPID DEPLOYMENT UNIT.
SO CHAD, THANK YOU FOR YOUR 15 YEARS OF SERVICE AND YOUR LEADERSHIP IN OUR DEPARTMENT.
MAYOR MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR OUR REMAINING, UH, SERVICE RECOGNITIONS, LIKE TO ASK OUR PUBLIC WORKS AND UTILITIES DIRECTOR, JOHN CONDUCIVE TO COME FORWARD AND MAKE HIS PRESENTATIONS.

MY FIRST WILL BE FOR, UH, ERIC KINSEY, UH, FOR HIS 20 YEARS SERVICE RECOGNITION.

ERIC STARTED HIS CAREER IN CONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT.
AFTER RECEIVING A DEGREE IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION FROM NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, HE'S ALSO A LICENSED REAL ESTATE BROKER IN 2001.
ERIC JOINED THE CITY OF CHANDLER AS A REAL ESTATE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT OFFICER.
IN 2006, ERIC WAS PROMOTED TO REAL ESTATE OPERATIONS COORDINATOR.
CURRENTLY HE IS A REAL ESTATE MANAGER RESPONSIBLE FOR MANAGING THE REAL ESTATE GROUP WITHIN THE CAPITAL PROJECTS DIVISION IN HIS CURRENT POSITION.
ERIC OVERSEES THE CITY'S REAL ESTATE ACTIVITIES, LAND ACQUISITIONS, PROPERTY MANAGEMENT, AND DISPOSITIONS.
ERIC ALSO PROVIDES VALUABLE HISTORICAL INFORMATION REGARDING REAL ESTATE MATTERS, CITY OWNED PROPERTIES AND ADVISES OTHER DEPARTMENTS, CITIZENS, AND UTILITY COMPANIES ABOUT PROJECTS AND LAND ISSUES.
AND THAT'S NOT ENOUGH AS ONE OF, AS ONE OF JUST A FEW MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENTS IN ARIZONA CERTIFIED TO MANAGE AND MANAGE OUR OWN FEDERALLY FUNDED ROADWAY PROJECTS.
ERIC HAS GONE THROUGH FEDERAL TRAINING AND IS AUTHOR AUTHORIZED TO CERTIFY PROPERTY ACQUISITIONS TO FULFILL FEDERAL REQUIREMENTS.

CHRISTINE HAS BEEN A PART OF CHANDLER'S SOLID WASTE DIVISION SINCE 2001 AS A SOLID WASTE REPRESENTATIVE, CHRISTINE PROUDLY ASSIST CHANNEL RESIDENTS WITH ANY AND ALL RECYCLE AND TRASH SERVICES.
CHRISTINE STRIVES TO IN PROVIDING THOROUGH SERVICE WITH 100% ACCURACY TEAM MEMBERS DESCRIBE CHRISTINE AS KNOWLEDGEABLE, ORGANIZED, AND DEPENDABLE, AND SIMPLY PUT AWESOME.
THE TEAM OFTEN CONSULTS WITH CHRISTINE, FOR GUIDANCE AS A RESULT OF HER PROFICIENCY WITH OUR SOFTWARE PROGRAMS AND TO HELP CHRISTINE'S VALUE TO OUR ORGANIZATION DOES NOT GO UNNOTICED, SUPERVISE AND COWORKERS RECOGNIZE HER CONSISTENT PROFESSIONALISM, DEDICATION, AND EXPERTISE.

MY LAST SERVICE RECOGNITION TONIGHT IS FOR SALLY DAVIS FOR 15 YEARS OF SERVICE.
IF I COULD HAVE SELF-EMPLOYED SAL BEGAN HIS CAREER WITH THE CITY OF CHANDLER IN MAY OF 2006, AS A GROUNDSKEEPER WITH THE PARKS DIVISION SOUTH QUICKLY PROMOTED TO A PARK SPRAY TECHNICIAN.
AND THEN AGAIN TO STREETS DEPARTMENT, WHERE HE WORKED AS A STREET SWEEPER IN 2012, HE AGAIN, PROMOTED TO THE TRAFFIC ENGINEERING DIVISIONS SIGNS AND MARKINGS.
TRUE SOUTH TOOK THAT OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN ALL HE COULD REGARDING ROAD MARKINGS.
AND IN 2017 WAS PROMOTED TO A TRAFFIC OPERATIONS TECH TO SAL AND HIS CREW ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING THE ROADWAYS, SYMBOLS AND MARKINGS THROUGHOUT THE CITY OF CHANDLER ASSURING SAFE PASSAGE FOR ALL OF THOSE TRAVELING ON OUR CITY STREETS.
SOUTH TAKES GREAT PRIDE WITH HIS JOB WITH THE MARKINGS CREW AND IS A TREMENDOUS ASSET TO THE CITY OF CHANDLER.
SO FOR YOUR 15 YEARS OF SERVICE, WE HOPE TO HAVE MANY MORE.
WELL, WE'RE NEXT MAYOR THAT CONCLUDES OUR SERVICE RECOGNITION SINCE EVENING ACTUALLY GRABBED THE WRONG SHEEP.

THEY'RE A VITAL IMPORTANCE TO SUSTAINABLE AND RESILIENT COMMUNITIES AND TO PUBLIC HEALTH, HIGH QUALITY OF LIFE AND WELLBEING OF THE PEOPLE OF CHANDLER.
AND WHEREAS THESE INFRASTRUCTURE FACILITY AND SERVICES COULD NOT BE PROVIDED WITHOUT THE DEDICATED EFFORT OF PUBLIC WORKS PROFESSIONALS WHO ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR REBUILDING, IMPROVING AND PROTECTING OUR CITY'S TRANSPORTATION, WATER, SUPPLY, WATER TREATMENT, AND SOLID WASTE PROGRAMS, PUBLIC BUILDINGS, AND OTHER STRUCTURES AND FACILITIES ESSENTIAL TO OUR CITIZENS.

THIS WAS A GOOD RETREAT TO GET TOGETHER AND, AND BRING, UH, OUR UNIQUENESS, WHICH WE ADD TO THE CITY AND TO THIS PROCESS, AND TO LOOK AT THIS, I WANT TO THANK OUR ACTING CITY MANAGER, OUR CAPITA DEPARTMENT, AND SO MANY OTHERS THAT CONTRIBUTED TO THIS TOO.

AND SECONDLY WAS ITEM NUMBER FIVE AND, UM, COUNCIL, AGAIN, THIS HAD TO DO, UH, COUNCIL MEMBER ORLANDO, AND I BROUGHT THIS FORTH, BUT THIS HAD TO DO WITH THE ANTICIPATED ARPA DOLLARS AND THE REMAINING CARES DOLLARS.AND, AND AGAIN, I WANT TO THANK YOU FOR THE WORK THAT WENT INTO THIS, THE EXCELLENT, UH, RECOMMENDATIONS THAT CAME FROM ALL OF OUR STAFF, AS WE KNOW THESE, THIS MONEY IS, IS, UH, JUST ALLOCATES THIS AND COUNSEL THAT EACH OF THESE ITEMS, AS THEY COME FORTH, WE'LL HAVE A CHANCE TO ACTUALLY APPROVE THEM.
SO WE DIDN'T REALLY APPROVE SPECIFIC ITEMS THAT WE DID CERTAINLY SAY, THIS IS THE DIRECTION AND WE WILL BE VOTING ON EACH OF THOSE TYPES OF THINGS AS, AS THEY COME FORTH.
